Hasbro.cn was not an easy project, partly because all the content is in Chinese, including all the flash animations and menu items. With careful planning and close communication with Hasbro, we ensured that all translations occurred as smoothly as possible.

However, it wasn’t just the front end design that needed to be multilingual, the customised content management system also needed to be available in both English and Chinese. This was built from scratch to incorporate all aspects of a standard CMS, along with the necessary tools required for the site's specialised content.

Hasbro is a dynamically changing company. With their constantly updating portfolio of products and intellectual properties; such as the release of the new Transformers film, the online Monopoly game and others; the CMS needed to be as open as possible for all these new and exciting modules to be translated, retooled and plugged into Hasbro.cn.
